MUNISING–The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has opened a part-time office at the First National Bank in Munising. The office will be open Fridays for meetings with local residents interested in youth-related activities, according to Judy Watson-Olson, director of the Kellogg Youth Initiatives program. The foundation is in the second year of a 20-year commitment to improve the quality of life for young people in Alger and Marquette counties. Since 1989, more than 20 local projects have been funded. When the office is unattended, calls will automatically be forwarded to Marquette at no charge to the caller.
