MARQUETTE — The Peter White Public Library invites music lovers to the continuing virtual series, Musical Interludes, from 7-8 p.m. Monday, June 29.

In this series, local musicians will talk about their musical backgrounds and experiences before giving a short performance via Zoom.

The library’s guest this week will be musician Dave Ziegner. An accomplished bassist, guitarist, and pianist, Ziegner has been a Marquette resident since 1993. He is a founding member of Conga Se Menne, band leader of Combo Caliente, and a member of the NMU Faculty Jazz Ensemble. He has performed with numerous groups including Kirsten Gustafson and Friends, the Occasions, Iron Daisy and the DayDreamers.

In addition to performing, he teaches privately and has been an instructor during the summers for the Lakeside Strings Association.
