MARINETTE — The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 66-year-old Jimmy Lee Willey, who was last seen Saturday driving eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 near the Island Resort and Casino.

Willey, of Beecher, Wisconsin, is described as 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with green eyes and white hair. He uses a cane, walks with a distinct limp and has health concerns, according to the press release. He was last seen driving his Black 2008 Dodge Caravan with Wisconsin Temporary Tag B1002AE. Wisconsin plate AJN4433 may be on the van, police said.

Authorities believe he may have gone to Daggett and continued north. The MCSO is patrolling several of the possible routes between Daggett and Beecher, Wisconsi

n trying to locate him in his vehicle.

He has not returned home and left his dog alone at home, and this is out of character for Willey, who lives alone and never leaves for long periods of time, the press release states. Willey’s dog is being cared for by a neighbor.

There is information Willey may have been seen driving north on U.S. Highway 41 past toward Escanaba, the press release noted.

To report any information about Willey’s disappearance, contact the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office at 715-732-7600.
