MARQUETTE — As the pandemic gets controlled and as things start to return to “normal,” The Mining Journal welcomes people to start submitting information for Community Calendar, which traditionally has been part of the paper daily, and for Nightlife, which runs on Monday.

≤ Information for the Community Calendar should be submitted no later than one week before the event. Mail to The Mining Journal, Attention: Newsroom/Community Calendar, Box 430, Marquette, MI 49855; fax to 906-228-2617; or email to rprusi@miningjournal.net, putting calendar in the subject line.

The calendar features both one-time events and meetings and activities that happen weekly. These one-time events can be included in the Bulletin Board column as long as they are open to the public.

≤ Nightlife, a free listing of live entertainment at area commercial establishments, is published each Monday. Information for this column must be received in The Mining Journal’s Marquette office by noon Wednesday. Email to rprusi@miningjournal.net, putting Nightlife in the subject line.
