Traditional music jam on Zoom
MARQUETTE — From 2-5 p.m. Saturday, the Peter White Public Library will host a virtual traditional music jam via Zoom.
Take out a guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, ukulele, harmonica, or just use your voice, and join other acoustic musicians and vocalists for an on-line community jam session. Celebrate the traditional folk music of the Carter Family, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, and others. It’s a chance to share your love of music and learn a new song or instrumental technique. Listeners and singers are always welcome.
For a Zoom invite to this event sponsored by the Peter White Public Library and the Hiawatha Music Co-Op, email Carolyn at cmcmanis@uproc.lib.mi.us. For more information, check us out at pwpl.info or on Facebook.
