ISHPEMING — In order to be in compliance with COVID guidelines, the usual Memorial services at the Ishpeming cemetery will not take place.

However, The American Legion and the VFW will be sponsoring a display of patriotic tributes and art work that will be placed in front of the cemetery fence for people to view on Memorial Day.

Poster board material is available free at the VFW Post, 310 Bank St., Ishpeming, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. Tuesday. The posters can be returned Saturday at the VFW in the afternoon from 1-3 p.m.

Also, anyone who has already made poster can bring them to the Post on Tuesday, according to a VFW release.
