Memorial Day events canceled

MARQUETTE — American Legion Post 44 in Marquette has canceled the 2020 Memorial Day Services at Park and Holy Cross cemeteries due to COVID-19.

A press release from the post stated: “Our thoughts right now are with our front line workers providing their invaluable services to keep all of our citizens safe. We salute all of our veterans especially those that gave their life’s for our country. Please stay safe.”
