ISHPEMING — The Ishpeming City Council will interview a city attorney candidate during a special meeting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

Caroline Bridges of Negaunee will meet with the council, the city manager and the city clerk for an in-person interview at Ishpeming City Hall. Other city staff and members of the public will have access to the meeting virtually via the Zoom video conferencing platform.

The council will also consider Software as a Service and Spectrum Lease Agreement with Sensus USA, Inc. and will hear a legislative update from state Rep. Sara Cambensy, D-Marquette.

Written public comments can be submitted in advance at 100 E. Division Street or by email to cathysmith@ishpemingcity.org. Written comments will be limited to 500 words and should be submitted by 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Verbal comments during the meeting will be limited to 5 minutes.
