MARQUETTE — A Gwinn man was arrested at the end of January on criminal sexual conduct charges.

On Thursday, officers from the Forsyth Township Police Department arrested Chad Michael Davis on outstanding warrants stemming from an ongoing criminal sexual conduct investigation. The case began in November of last year, a press release from the Forsyth Township Police Department states.

Charges were authorized by the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office and Davis was subsequently arrested and lodged at the Marquette County Jail.

Davis is being charged with six counts of criminal sexual conduct in the third degree (person 13-15); one count aggravated-child sexually abusive activity; one count child sexually abusive activity; one count children-accosting for immoral purposes; and one count using a computer to commit a crime.
