Interfaith evening of thanks

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Interfaith Forum will present its annual interfaith Evening of Thanks at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The event will be held this year at Temple Beth Sholom on the corner of East Ridge and Blaker streets.

The service includes prayers, readings and songs of thanks from some of the many faith groups in Marquette including Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Baha’i, Unitarian-Universalist and Anishinaabe. A social hour will follow with breads and spreads and other baked goods (potluck; no meat, please) coffee, tea and cider.
