MARQUETTE — Marquette Township’s free leaf and yard waste drop-off is available now through Nov. 1 at North Country Disposal, 83 Eagle Mills Road, off of Marquette County Road 492.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Residents are to bring a current utility bill and identification. There should be no stumps or limbs more than 2 inches diameter, and all loads must be covered with a tarp. Contact North Country Disposal at 906-249-4500 for questions.

The Marquette County Landfill, 600 County Road NP, offers free brush and leaf drop-off from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Again, there should be no stumps or limbs more than 2 inches diameter, and all loads must be covered with a tarp. Contact the landfill at 906-249-4125 for details.
