MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University is holding its annual homecoming parade from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The city of Marquette is announcing the following streets will be closed to through traffic for the parade with a police escort:

≤ Pine Street from Lakeshore Boulevard to Fair Avenue

≤ Fair Avenue from Pine Street to Third Street

≤ Third Street from Fair Avenue to Hewitt Avenue

≤ Hewitt Avenue from Third Street to Front Street

≤ Front Street from Hewitt Avenue to Park Street

≤ Park Street from Front Street to High Street

≤ High Street from Park Street to College Avenue

≤ College Avenue from High Street to Front Street

≤ Front Street from College Avenue to Fair Avenue

In case of inclement weather, the parade will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
