Crack sealing to begin Monday

MARQUETTE — Beginning Monday, various streets in Marquette will experience traffic disruptions due to crack sealing activities by JCS Inc.

City officials are advising the public to be aware of traffic control devices and to use caution when traveling through work zones. The contractor will start at the north end of the city and work its way toward the south and from east to west.

It’s anticipated all these areas will be completed by the end of August.

Commission to meet Monday

MARQUETTE — The Marquette City Commission will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. Monday. The meeting will be held in Commission Chambers of Marquette City Hall, which is located at 300 W. Baraga Ave.
