MARQUETTE — Front Street between Park and Magnetic streets in Marquette will be closed to through traffic for reconstruction work starting at 7 a.m. Monday. The work is expected to take four weeks to be completed.

The Front Street work will detour traffic to Park Street, Pine Street and College Avenue. The public is advised to use caution while traveling through this area and be alert for construction, detour and advisory signing, city officials said.

Smith Construction is the general contractor for the project.
