Kiwanis Chicken Barbecue Fundraiser on Sunday
Superiorland Kiwanis Club member Norm Hefke is pictured at right exchanging tickets for this weekend’s annual Chicken Barbecue Fundraiser with Dave Bonsall. This year they realized the springtime exchange has taken place each of the past 40 years. This year’s fundraiser will be held Sunday at Lakeview Arena in Marquette from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. rain or shine. Meals can be eaten at Lakeview or taken to go and tickets will be available at the door or in advance from any Kiwanis Club member. Tickets cost $12 per meal, which includes a half chicken, potato, roll, milk and dessert cup. (Courtesy photo)
