MARQUETTE — The Northern Michigan University flag is lowered to half-staff today in honor of the passing of NMU student Keara Bullen who passed away Sunday as a result of an auto accident in downstate Bingham Township.

Bullen, 19, of downstate Mason, was a freshman majoring in marketing. She lived in Van Antwerp Hall and was a member of the women’s soccer team, and was a successful high school soccer player.
