Northern Michigan University student Myah Tatay, vice president of the NMU Public Relations Student Society of America, stamps a card at Dead River Coffee during Saturday’s Second Annual Marquette Coffee Crawl. Participants journeyed through Marquette to test local coffeehouse’s beverages. Proceeds will benefit the Women’s Center in Marquette, with April designated Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Along with Dead River, coffee shops taking part in this year’s event were Java Bay, Cafe Allenatore, Contrast Coffee Co., The Crib, Babycakes Muffin Co., VeloDrome Coffee Company and Cruise-N-Coffee.
