MARQUETTE — The elevator at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette will be out of service from Tuesday through March 22 while parts are replaced and repaired.

A news release from PWPL states: “We apologize for the inconvenience. In the meantime we have temporarily moved a few programs and services to help with accessibility. Staff will also assist patrons with limited mobility at the temporary materials pickup in the parking lot entrance lobby. We have created a small waiting area and will bring materials to the lobby for checkout.

“Due to limited access, indoor stroller parking will not be available until elevator repairs are complete. Staff are happy to help those affected by the closure of the elevator. We appreciate your patience.”
