East Ridge Street to close Tuesday

MARQUETTE — East Ridge Street in Marquette will be closed to through traffic from Front Street to High Street for a water service installation starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday. City officials said work is expected to be completed by Nov. 27.

ISHPEMING — The Ishpeming Public Schools Board of Education is accepting letters of interest to fill a partial board term. A candidate must be a registered voter and a resident of the district. The term of office is from the appointment date through Dec. 31, 2020.

Interested individuals may submit a letter of interest to: Superintendent of Schools, 319 E. Division St. Ishpeming, MI 49849. Letters must be received by noon Dec. 10.
