Pedestrian transported to hospital after being struck by cement truck
MARQUETTE — A man was transported to UP Health System-Marquette with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a cement truck at approximately 10:05 a.m. Thursday, according to the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post.
Dean Lindblo, 49 of Quinnesec, was on foot on M-95 near Witch Lake in Republic Township when he was struck by a northbound Champion Inc. cement truck driven by James Sargent, 52, of Iron Mountain.
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post were assisted at the scene at by the Republic Township Fire/EMS and UPHS-Marquette EMS.
