Summer Strings to perform
MARQUETTE — The Marquette Symphony Orchestra’s brand new Summer Strings group will be give another free, family-friendly performance on Wednesday at Ore Dock Brewing Company.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a special opening performance by the Superior String Alliance Chamber Players Summer Tour. The MSO’s Summer Strings ensemble will play at 7 p.m. for about an hour.
All are welcome for a live, wide-ranging performance by 13 members of the Marquette Symphony Orchestra. The group will be playing classical favorites, rock hits, along with some jazz and fiddle tunes.
Admission is free, and donations are encouraged.
