ARNOLD — The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a breaking and entering that occurred at Lapalme Country Corner, located at the intersection of Marquette County Road 557 and Marquette County Road 426 in Wells Township, sometime between 5 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.

A glass patio door was broken in a residence located in the back of the store.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying any suspicious vehicles or people in the area during the time of the breaking and entering.

The Lapalme Country Corner also serves as the post office for Arnold.

The FBI and the regional postal inspector are assisting in the investigation.
