This is Beau …

Viewers of the NBC mega-hit “This is Us” will have the chance to see an Upper Peninsula native in tonight’s season premiere. Gwinn High School graduate Beau Chaput, second from right in this photo with Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown (center), works as a camera operator for the series and will be playing a camera operator in season two’s first episode, which airs at 9 p.m. ET today on NBC. Chaput, an in-demand camera operator who has worked for years around the world on movies and television shows, and his partner Alice Mattila — along with their three children — live part of the year in Gwinn and part wherever Chaput is filming.
