MARQUETTE — Marquette residents are welcome to bring their electronic waste to Lakeview Arena parking lot located at 401 E. Fair Ave. on Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. Enter on Fair Avenue and exit onto Pine Street.

This is a free event so please consider making a monetary donation at the collection site to the Feeding America Food Bank on the day of the event.

Items accepted for recycling include: all computer and related items (CPU/mouse/keyboard), laptops, tablets, printers, CRT and flat screen televisions (projection TVs are not accepted), CRT and flat screen computer monitors, scanners, fax machines, cell phones, DVD and CD players and stereo equipment.

This event is made possible by Comprenew and the electronic manufacturers that support the Michigan Electronics Takeback Program coordinated by the Michigan DEQ.
