July 4

– 5 a.m., suspicious noises, requested area check. Area checked, nothing found, 1000 block Allouez Road

– 7:36 a.m., malicious destruction of property, turned out to be civil matter, 100 block West Ridge Street

– 10 a.m., lockout, unable to open, 300 block South McClellan Avenue

– 10:56 a.m., breaking and entering, 2200 block Wilkinson Avenue

– 10:58 a.m., abandoned vehicle, tagged and tires chalked, 1700 block Elm Avenue

– 11:10 a.m., damage to a motorcycle helmet, 1300 block South Front Street

– 11:36 a.m., parking complaint, vehicle gone when officers arrived, 100 block West Washington Street

– 12:08 p.m., alarm, building secure, 100 block West Spring Street

– 12:40 p.m., intoxicated subject passed out in front of building, moved along, 400 block West Washington Street

– 1 p.m., subject making threats, warned, 400 block West Washington Street

– 1:41 p.m., dog in van appears distressed, officers checked. Van windows open and dog has full water dish, dog not in distress, 1000 block West Washington Street

– 3:35 p.m., harassment complaint, all parties spoken to, 1100 block West Washington Street

– 3:36 p.m., swimmer possibly in distress, not in distress, swam to shore, Lakeshore Boulevard near Picnic Rocks

– 4:03 p.m., hit-and-run accident, minor damage to vehicle, 1200 block West Fair Avenue

– 4:06 p.m., stalking complaint, just looking for advice at this time, 1900 block Freedom Drive

– 4:39 p.m., traffic accident, 100 block Fisher Street

– 4:54 p.m., laundry basket with unknown items dumped on side of road. Officer checked, nothing suspicious. Basket picked up. 700 block Pioneer Road

– 6:17 p.m., parking complaint, 16 citations issued, 300 block Lakeshore Boulevard

– 6:38 p.m., found dog, turned over to UPAWS, owner called and will pick up dog. Grove Street

– 6:42 p.m., hammock found tied to tree, park patrol to check, subject took it down, Peter White Drive

– 6:44 p.m., lockout, subject got it open before officers arrived, Peter White Drive

– 6:49 p.m., vehicle parked illegally, gone on officer arrival, 200 block North Lakeshore Boulevard

– 7:36 p.m., illegal dumping, warned, 1600 block Presque Isle Avenue

– 7:56 p.m., well-being check, resolved for now, 200 block South Fifth Street

– 8:01 p.m., disabled vehicle in traffic, assistance given, Front Street near Fair Avenue

– 8:35 p.m., vehicle parked on private property, cited, 200 block North Lakeshore Boulevard

– 8:56 p.m., bathroom at beach overflowing, DPW contacted, 500 block Lakeshore Boulevard

– 9:04 p.m., intoxicated subject fell off bike, all OK. Lakeshore Boulevard near East Baraga Avenue

– 9:05 p.m., missing 7-year-old, located by mother’s friend, returned to mother, 200 block North Lakeshore Boulevard

– 9:14 p.m., kids lighting off fireworks without adult supervision, gone on arrival, 1300 block Pine Street
