Kris O’connor and Blythe Raikko received Americanism thank you certificates and Proud to be American pins at a meeting in November from the American Legion Auxiliary and American Legion Members. For eight years they have conducted their “interview a veteran” lesson plan and it came to the Legion’s attention when they completed their project last year with a tribute to Veteran’s in Harlow Park on Memorial Day.
