Wanted fugitive taken into custody
MARQUETTE –The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office announced that a wanted fugitive was taken into custody at 2 p.m. Tuesday after requesting the public’s assistance in locating the individual.
On Monday, Chenoa Rae Phillips, 19, was taken into custody and lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
On April 7, Phillips was released from jail with a personal recognizance bond, ordered to wear a GPS monitoring device and immediately report to drug treatment.
Phillips, according to the sheriff’s office, removed the GPS monitoring device later the same day and failed to report to treatment as ordered by the court.
