The Marquette and Marquette West Rotary clubs received a grant of $5,000 from Rotary District 6220 for the purchase of masks for Marquette Area Public Schools elementary students. MAPS Superintendent Bill Saunders also recognized Masks for Marquette, Lowe’s, and the Marquette County United Way for contributions of masks. He stated that the contributions were helpful as the district has had high expenses related to COVID-19, such as purchasing personal protective equipment, sanitizer and more. Pictured presenting the check with Saunders are Rotary representatives Jim Jajich, Bryan Lupac and Dan Carpenter. (Submitted photo)
