Suspects in shooting taken into custody

Alyssa Arnold

GLADSTONE — Two people have been arrested after police sought them for several days in relation to a Wednesday shooting in Schoolcraft County, according to a Michigan State Police press release.

Trevor Gault, 33, and Alyssa Arnold, 20, were taken into custody without incident on Saturday, officials say.

The pair were sought in connection with a shooting in Inwood Township in the Cooks area that left a Manistique man critically injured on Wednesday.

A felony arrest warrant on a charge of assault with intent to murder was issued for Gault by the Michigan State Police on Friday.

MSP officials from the Gladstone post said this morning that police will not release information on what charge or charges Arnold was arrested upon until she is arraigned.
