GWINN — The Forsyth Township Police Department is continuing the search today for a man who was last seen Monday afternoon.

Dan McLaughlin, 48, was last seen at his camp along Marquette County Road EEH near the Escanaba River in Forsyth Township around 4:15 p.m. Monday. Police were alerted around 5:30 p.m. Monday, according to the Forsyth Township Police Department.

The department asks those with any information to assist the search to call central dispatch by dialing 911, as the search is continuing today.

Forsyth Township police are being assisted by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, Marquette County Search and Rescue, Valley Med Flight, Michigan State Police K-9 and aviation units, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources aviation and TriMedia, as well as family, friends and neighbors of McLaughlin.
