WINTER WONDERLAND

Pictured are snowshoes provided for guests during the West End Winter Wonderland event at the Wawonowin Country Club Saturday afternoon. This was the third annual Winter Wonderland hosted by the Greater Ishpeming-Negaunee Area Chamber of Commerce. Attendees could ski, snowshoe or bike on groomed trails around the front nine holes of the club. Chamber member businesses such as Gauthier Insurance and Honor Credit Union offered food and libations to attendees as they went around the course. “It’s a fun event where people can get out and enjoy the weather and also showcase our chamber member businesses,” said Gabi Kauts, chamber communications and marketing assistant. Proceeds raised during the event will go to the chamber. (Journal photos by Trinity Carey)
