ISHPEMING — Police have released the names of people involved in the fatal two-vehicle accident that took place at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Malton Road Monday.

Carrie Emanuelson, 82, of Champion, was pronounced dead at the scene Monday, and was the sole fatality of the accident, according to a release from the Ishpeming Police Department.

According to the release, Terry Orlich, 64, of Marquette was driving a white 2018 Lincoln Navigator westbound on U.S. 41 as he approached the intersection, while Robert Emanuelson, 85, of Champion, was driving a northbound 2005 tan Buick LeSabre.
