MARQUETTE — Tasty Reads, a book group for readers who like to cook, will focus on “Picnic in Provence: A Memoir with Recipes” by Elizabeth Bard at its meeting at noon today in the Peter White Public Library’s Shiras Room on the upper level.

Having published her first book, “Lunch in Paris: a Love Story with Recipes,” author Elizabeth Bard and her husband Gwendal start a new chapter of their lives, moving to Southern France, becoming parents, and eventually opening an ice cream shop.

In addition to discussing her insecurities with respect to being a mother, understanding French culture, and finding her purpose in life, Bard ends each chapter with multiple recipes that reflect her new life in Provence.
