Climate change program Thursday

MARQUETTE — Do you want to know what you as an individual can do about climate change? Drop-in frp, 3-8 p.m. Thursday in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library on the lower level for Building a Community Climate Response.

Community organizations will have displays with representatives available to talk to individuals about their concerns. From 6-8 p.m., representatives with give short talks on different climate issues.

This event is organized by John Forslin and sponsored by Climate Reality — UP, the Climate Adaptation Task Force, Superior Watershed Partnership, Citizen’s Climate Lobby, the Marquette Food Co-Op, the Repair Cafe, Transition Marquette Country, the Queen City Seed Library, Alger County Amateur Radio Emergency Service, Skeptical Science and Styrofree Marquette.
