Climate — The public is invited to join the Marquette Chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby for the group’s monthly meeting in the Lions Room of the Peter White Public Library at 12:30 p.m.

Traditional Music Jam — Bring acoustic instruments to play those great traditional folk songs in an informal gathering. Listeners and singers are welcome. Peter White Public Library Community Room, 2-5 p.m.

Family event — It’s All In the Barn event is taking place from 3-8 p.m. at the North Farm Barn in Chatham. This event includes a farm to table dinner, basket raffles from Alger County, pie/cake auction, kids area, music by Granny Fox and the Farm Hands Band and dancing. The event is designed to be fun for all ages and is handicap accessible. Tickets are $25 adult, $15 for ages 12 years and under. Children 5 and under are admitted for free. Crop Swap — All gardeners are invited to Marquette’s first-ever Community Crop Swap to be held at Graveraet Elementary School at 2:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by Transition Marquette, MQT Growth and the Queen City Seed Library.

Doors will open at 1 p.m. to allow members and visitors time to bid on silent auction specimens and to view the club’s mineral collection. The program will start at 1:30 pm. Upper Peninsula Geologist Tom Mroz will present “The Mineralogy of the Champion, Michigan area.” All are welcome.
