Fish fry — The Ishpeming VFW Post 4573, 310 Bank St., will have a fish fry each Friday from 4-7 p.m. The menu features a variety of fish, baked or fried, ribeye steak, chicken and burgers. Each dinner include baked potatoes or fries, applesauce, cole slaw, roll and dessert. Take-outs are available. Call 906-486-4856. This is the final Friday fish fry until fall.

Elks Fish Fry — Marquette Elks Lodge 405 Fish Fry is from 4:30-7 p.m.The public is welcome. The Marquette Elks Lodge is located at 127 N. Front St. Reservations are accepted. Call 906-226-7611. Dinners also are available for carry out.

Joseph — The Peninsula Arts Appreciation Council presents the musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at 7 p.m. at Historic Vista Theater in Negaunee. Spring Sing — The Forsyth Singers will present their Spring Sing at 7 p.m. at the Gwinn VFW Club. They will be joined by the Gospel Guys from Munising. Admission is $7.

Dance — The Marquette Folk Dancers have weekly recreational dancing at 7 p.m. at the DanceZone, corner of College and Lincoln. Beginners and visitors always welcome. No experience necessary. Phone 226-9617 for information. Per person fee: $120 annual membership or $3 per session.

Stamp Out Hunger — this it the date for the The National Association of Letter Carriers’s 27th annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Carriers will pick up non-perishable food donations left by mailboxes to help alleviate hunger in the community.

Spring Bake Sale — Laestadian Lutheran Church of Ishpeming will have its annual Spring Bake Sale and Luncheon, “A Taste of Scandinavia,” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cardamom and homemade breads, prune tarts, baked goods and crafts will be for sale. The luncheon includes homemade wild rice soup and freshly baked pies. The church is located at 567 Washington St, Ishpeming in the Industrial Park.
