Gwinn breakfast — Gwinn VFW Post 5670 will sponsor a Breakfast Buffet from 9 a.m. to noon at the club. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for kids under 10 years. On the menu will be pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice, and milk.

Dance — will take place at the Rock Community-Senior Center, 3892 W. Mapleridge Road, from 1-5 p.m. Music will be provided by Angels and Outlaws. Newsies — Superior Arts Youth Theater will present “Disney’s Newsies: The Broadway Musical” at Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theatre, 1 p.m., tickets bought in advance are $15 for adults and $9 for students. Auditions — The Historic Vista Theater in Negaunee is announcing auditions for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Anyone wanting to try out is asked to stop by any time between 6-8 p.m. and be prepared with 45-60 seconds of music to sing. An accompanist will be available. Ages 5 and up are welcome. Performance dates are May 7-12 at the Historic Vista Theater.
