Dr. Bonnie Cronin holds presentation

MARQUETTE — At 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dr. Bonnie Cronin will present an introduction to Naturopathic Medicine in the Peter White Public Library’s Heritage Room.

With extensive training in clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, physical medicine, and acupuncture, Dr. Cronin can help by focusing on finding the underlying cause of your health concerns rather than just focusing on symptom management. Her goal is to bring the systems of the body back into balance, thus restoring health.

Cronin’s interest in natural medicine started at Northern Michigan University where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology. While there, she joined a homeopathy study group started by good friend and life mentor, Vicki Lockwood. Currently she has a private practice, North Shore Naturopathic and Acupuncture.

Cronin completed her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and masters in Acupuncture at Bastyr University in California, the leading accredited university for science-based natural medicine. After medical school, she completed a residence in General Family Practice at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic in Clifton Springs, New York.

Bring questions for Dr. Cronin about how naturopathic medicine can benefit. There is no admission charge to attend. For more information, visit the library’s website at www.pwpl.info or call 906-226-4318.
