Life drawing — Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library will once again hold its popular, free, “Life Drawing” class from noon to 2 p.m. Basic drawing materials are provided, but students are welcome to bring their own. This is a “drop in” class — there is no registration. No experience is necessary. All models for the class will be volunteers from the community.

#Johnsonstrong — the Iron Range Hockey Association will host the IRHA Johnson Strong Fundraiser from 3-6 p.m. at the Negaunee Ice Arena. This event is a memorial/fundraiser game for the Johnson family at their team’s first home game since a traffic accident that claimed two Johnson family members. The game will be dedicated to Will and Jake, who died from injuries sustained in the crash, and Kyle Johnson who is battling back from injuries he received. All proceeds from the T-shirt sale, car decals, 50/50, and silent auction items will be given to the Johnson family, according to the Facebook post for the event. A short ceremony to dedicate a banner and jerseys in their memory will take place: #Johnsonstrong.

Breakfast — Gwinn VFW Post 5670 will sponsor a Breakfast Buffet from 9 a.m. to noon at the club. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for kids under 10 years. On the menu will be pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice, and milk.

Piefecta — Superiorland Bridge Club invites the public to join them for their first time ever “Pie-fecta,” defined as an opportunity to learn about the game of bridge while enjoying homemade pie and coffee (tea). This event will be at 2 p.m. in the Superiorland Bridge Club’s space in the Westwood Mall in Marquette. Anyone who is curious about the game of bridge is invited.
