SAYT fundraiser — Superior Arts Youth Theater is hosting its second annual murder mystery fundraiser. This 21+ event, taking place from 6-10 p.m. upstairs at the Northern Michigan University Bottum University Center, will feature a raffle, cash bar, and a 1950s prom-themed, live-action murder mystery performance in three acts by The Murder Mystery Company — a professional theatrical company originally based in Grand Rapids and now performing in 20 states. Recommended dress for this night of murderous mayhem is puffy sleeved prom gowns, classy 1950s dress wear, or white and black suits. Ticket and raffle proceeds benefit Superior Arts Youth Theater. tickets for this event are $65 for individuals or $500 for a table, and include admission to the performance, two complimentary drink tickets per guest, and hors d’oeuvres.
