LITTLE LAKE — American Legion Post 349 in Little Lake will have a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. Friday.

The choices on the menu are all kinds of fish or chicken and fries as a substitute.

Marquette lion fish fry Friday

MARQUETTE — American Legion Post 44 will have fish fry from 5-7 p.m. Friday.

The post is located at 700 W. Bluff St., Marquette

Choices include whitefish, shrimp or chicken strips with baked potato or french fries. Salad bar is included with all meals.

This meal is open to the public.

MAPS school of choice apps out

MARQUETTE — In accordance with Section 105 Schools of Choice in Public Act 300, Marquette Area Public Schools has announced ninth- through 12th-grade openings for the second semester for the 2018-19 school year.

Opening involve Marquette Senior and Marquette Alternative high schools.

Applications may be obtained at the above school buildings or online at mapsnet.org/QuickLinks/SchoolofChoice.aspx.

Applications will be accepted Thursday through Jan. 18. The enrollment deadline for students admitted is Jan. 25.
