Senior/Adult Dance — with Blue Champagne — an afternoon of music and dance — will take place at Dance Zone, 1113 Lincoln Avenue, Marquette from 2-5 p.m. This dance is open to the public. $8 per person; discounted tickets for full-time students. Open Drop-In Meditation Sit — 5:30-6:30 p.m. An opportunity for individuals with meditation practices to get together in a group setting for 30-minute silent meditation, brief sharing and short loving kindness meditation. Lost Boys — John Dau will present “God Grew Tired of Us: The Lost Boys of Sudan” at Northern Michigan University. He was one of 27,000 boys in the war-torn country forced to flee their villages when the northern government began attacking the south. His talk is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms. Admission is free for NMU students and $2 for the general public.
