MARQUETTE — The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter’s ninth annual Rummage Sale will be June 28-July 1 in the former Century 21 offices along U.S. 41 West in Marquette.

Local residents are invited to donate items for the sales as well as to purchase items. Items that being sought for donation are kitchen items, small appliances, young children’s clothing and toys, bedding, books, movies, home decor, sports items, outdoor and garden items, tools and hardware, small furniture, pet items, CDs, holiday decor and office items.

Items not wanted are adult clothing or shoes, large appliances, large furniture, computers, cell phones, tube TVs, mattresses, paint, garden lab chemicals.

Collection times for the sale are 5-7 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

The sale dates are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 28-July 1. Other sale dates may be possible depending on demand.

The new location is across from Frei Chevrolet. Turn in the driveway past Jasmine restaurant.
