Humbolt Mill Tour — public tours of Eagle Mine facilities. Registration for the tours is required. This date, it’s a tour of the Humboldt Mill from 10 a.m. to noon. Community Yard Sale —  The Community Yard Sale being put on by the South County Fund Committee Women Who Care, a non-profit organization will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the West Branch Township Hall, 1016 County Road 545 N. Featured will be hot dogs, hand pies and the group’s famous pies. A variety of vendors will be participating. Proceeds go toward scholarships, grants which support youth development and the local food pantry.

YMCA Tang Soo Do Karate — in Marquette for private lessons by appointment from 9:15-9:45 a.m.

Tai Chi Chuan — an Introductory workshop to Tai Chi Chuan will be at 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Hope Connection Center, 927 W. Fair Ave. in Marquette. There is no cost for the event. The workshop is a summer gift from the Cedar Tree Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides services and initiates projects in the areas of mental health, religion and the environment.
