Alger Job Fair — Michigan Works is planning an Alger County Job Fair from 9 a.m. to noon at the Alger Parks and Recreation Building, 413 Maple St., Munising. This event will include direct hire opportunities, so those attending are encouraged to bring resumes as there will be interviews on site. Positions will include customer service, health care workers, sales representatives, food service, waiters/waitresses, maintenance, laborers and administrative (office, clerical). Historical society — Champion-Beacon-Humboldt Historical Society will meet at 2 p.m. in the Humboldt Township Hall. The hall is located at 5178 County Road FA in Humboldt. Everyone is invited to attend.

Gwinn meal — Everyone is welcome to the free Table of Grace community meal at Grace Lutheran Church in Gwinn from 5:30-6:15 p.m. On the menu is shepherd’s pie. Take-outs also will be available.
