Mike Davis Memorial Ski — The Yellow Dog Watershed Preserve will host a ski event in honor of Mike Davis at 11 a.m. Participants should meet at the Yellow Dog bridge on County Road 510 where the event will begin skiing or snowshoeing along the river and into the community forest. Bring water, a lunch and a camera. The group should be back to the bridge around 4 p.m. Some ski experience is necessary. Donations can be made to YDWP in honor of Mike. “Life Drawing” — Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library will once again hold its popular, free, “Life Drawing” class on Saturday mornings in February and March. Noon to 2 p.m. No cost.

The fourth Annual Ride FORCody Day — is from 1-4 p.m. at the Marquette Mountain Ski Hill. Lift tickets will be $25. The event is promoting helmet safety and honoring the memory of Cody Revord, who passed away Feb. 19, 2015, due to a head injury sustained while snowboarding without a helmet on.
