Storytime, exercise — The Negaunee Public Library is offering a storytime and exercise program each month. Tonya Marra Allen, a local fitness coach, will present her fun “Let’s Get Moving at the Library!” program at 4:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. This program is for children ages 3-8 years.

Tax help — Northern Michigan University’s Beta Alpha Psi will offer free income tax return assistance to students and community members. The program is offered from 5-7 p.m. in the University Center Trading Lab.

TOPS — Group 1579 meets at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 440 Stoneville Road, Ishpeming. Weigh-in at 5 p.m., meeting at 5:30 p.m.

WHS 1978 — The Westwood High School Class of 1978 will have a planning meeting for its 40th reunion at 7 p.m. at Pasquali’s Pizza and Pub in Negaunee. Prayer for Peace — Immanuel Lutheran Church, 520 U.S. 41, Negaunee, will hold a one-hour prayer service — World Day of Prayer for Peace — at 1 p.m. This event is open to the public, to anyone who feels the need to pray for peace. During the one hour of prayer, there will be opportunity for individual prayer as well as group prayer. Fish fry — American Legion Post 349 in Little Lake will have a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. The choices on the menu are walleye, whitefish (baked or fried), perch, cod (baked or fried), 21-piece shrimp, fantail shrimp or a combo fish platter. All these dinners include french fries or baked potato, coleslaw and roll. Non-fish choices are chicken strip and fries or hamburger and fries. Call 346-6000 for more information.

Peter White Public Library GLOW Club — 4-5 p.m., Peter White Public Library Shiras Room. Fish fry — Ishpeming VFW Post 4573, 310 Bank St., will be having Friday Night Fish Fry, from 4-7 p.m. Take out available. Cooked and served by volunteers, the meal will include a choice of perch, cod, salmon or shrimp. In addition, golden fried chicken, ribeye steaks and burgers are available.
