Sunday

Breakfast — Gwinn VFW Post 5670 will sponsor a Breakfast Buffet from 9 a.m. to noon at the club. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for kids under 10 years. On the menu will be pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice, and milk.

Marquette County Fair — opens at 10 a.m. with the first 200 children entering the fair for free. It’s Senior Citizen Day, with the first 100 seniors being admitted for free. After that entry for seniors is only $1. Horses at Liberty will be at 1 p.m., karaoke is from 1-4 p.m. at the gazebo and Go-Kart races are at 2 p.m.

Bingo — American Legion Auxiliary Bingo at Post 349 in Little Lake is ongoing on Sundays. Early birds are at 1:30 p.m. and the regular session is at 2 p.m. The public is invited.

Out of the Blue — The Gathering Place, a new ministry in Ishpeming, formed by four churches, will hold a social afternoon once a month on the second Sunday from 2-5 p.m. The kick-off event will be at the United Presbyterian Church, 112 E. Euclid St., behind the Mather Inn. The Gathering Place is open to singles, families with children and any one who is interested in conversation, card or board games, working puzzles, etc. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
