Carnegie summer — The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library offers Teen Book Talk at 1 p.m. Share what you’ve read this summer and hear about new releases to be excited about. Diabetes support — group meeting from 5-7 p.m. at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum for parents of children living with type 1 diabetes. The group will be meeting every third Thursday of the month. Parents will have a chance to meet and discuss issues, concerns, and get advice from other parents who may be going through similar situations with their children. Snacks will be served.
