Community yard sale planned

MARQUETTE — The South County Fund Committee Women Who Care, a non-profit organization, will have its Community Yard Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the West Branch Township Hall, 1016 County Road 545N.

Featured will be hot dogs, hand pies and, of course, the group’s famous pies. All proceeds go toward scholarships, grants which support youth development, and a local food pantry.

Community dinner slated

ISHPEMING — Homemade pizza will be served at the next Community Dinner at Hope Free Lutheran Church in west Ishpeming at 5 p.m. Sunday.
